4. Supervision

The supervisor can be:

• a staff member of the Faculty (Mathematics and Computer Science departments)
• a staff member from another department or faculty (in exceptional circumstances).

Once the subject of the paper has been determined, the student (in consultation with the internship coordinator) can approach a member of staff to act as supervisor. The choice will, of course, be based on the staff member's expertise and is subject to availability.

In consultation with the supervisor, the student may also approach third parties for advice.
