Master’s programmes
The Faculty of Science of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam offers 12 Master’s Programmes, most of which are two years. Within these programmes there are several specializations. All programmes are taught in English. Successful completion of a Master’s programme gives you a Master of Science’s degree (MSc). With a Master’s degree you qualify for admission to a related PhD programme.

Why Amsterdam?
As the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam has all the advantages of a big city, but because it is relatively small, it hardly has the disadvantages that go with it.
