Aniel Bhulai works as lecturer computer science (CS) at VU University Amsterdam. Besides teaching students he does research on website optimization. Furthermore, he coordinates the tutorship which plays an important rol in the guidance of the first year computer science students. He is also study advisor and education coordinator for the studies Interdisciplinary Science (IDS)Medical Natural Sciences (MNS), and Physics and Astronomy.
In 2007 he participated in the Sprint-UP project initiated by the 'Department of Education, Culture and Science (OCW)' and the 'Platform Beta Techniek'.

Aniel graduated in 1994 with a M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (Analytical Sciences) . In 1995 he acquired his first-grade teaching qualification for Chemistry at VU University Amsterdam. He carried out his Ph.D research on dynamic website optimization through autonomous management of design patterns. In 2010 he acquired the certificate for the basic qualifications for university teachers (BKO). With the different positions in the education and ICT field he has more than 15 years experience in teaching and ICT.
