Objectives
This section sketches the nature and range of
literature available.
It is meant as a source for further study.
Hints
It is important for students to develop
their own ideas on the subject of object orientation,
and to be able to express their thoughts in their
own words.
A comparative study of the literature on OOP
is likely to induce a relativistic attitude towards
the notions employed and the claims made.
Comments
During my course, I occasionally talk about the issues
involved in writing an article or some technical documentation.
My point of view is that writing is also an important
professional skill for computer science students.
Further, I may safely state that for writing about OOP
one needs to be informed about OOP, that is about other
people's views, whether you agree with them or not.
