The DU e-Xperimenteren+ project is an innovative project in the field of remote experimenting for educational purposes for Dutch universities. The e-Xperimenteren+ project resulted in a pool of physics experiments that can be accessed remotely through the internet. In this way, the costs of expensive experiments can be shared by several universities. By reducing the overall costs, and facilitating more easy integration of experiments into education, it is one of the goals to increase the usage of experiments within the higher education curriculum.

TIMP is a problem solving environment for fitting superposition models, the package has been extensively applied to modeling spectroscopy and Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM) datasets and is currently being tested with others froms of data like that from mass spectroscopy. TIMPGUI will be the graphical user interface to make TIMP more accesibly for a broad group of scientists. It is being developed in Java and as a result will be cross platform.
