Research interests:
Precision tests of fundamental physics (e.g. QED and nuclear size effects, using atoms like helium, helium+ ions, antihydrogen), testing the stability of fundamental constants (such as alpha using e.g. quasar data), frequency comb lasers, high power (multi TW) ultrafast lasers and ultrafast phenomena, extreme nonlinear optics (X-ray generation) and its application to study dynamical effects in atoms and molecules.
