Project Interactive Multimedia

Group 20

Concept

Noises can be very distracting, or even irritating, especially when produced by others. But sometimes people make noises without realizing that it might be inconvenient or even annoying to others.

This interactive video will aim to raise awareness of the noises that are, perhaps unintentionally, produced by people. Players will end up in situations where they will have to make a choice to advance in the game and points will be awarded based on the choices made. In order to make the right choice, the environment and time in which these choices are made will have to be taken into account as well. The goal of the game is to obtain as many points as possible at the end of the day.

Plan of Approach

Scenes for the interactive video will mainly be recorded in the open-world video game Sleeping Dogs. Besides these recordings, several videos from YouTube will be used as well. For the narrative audio parts, text-to-speech software will be used. Various editing tools will be used to edit the recorded audio and video material when needed.
