Research interests:
statistical genetics, statistics in historical demography

My research is focused on the application of statistics in life sciences, in particual in genetics. Last years I have worked on the detection of genes
that are involved in hereditary diseases like migraine.  I also worked on genetic models for estimating breast cancer risks for women with one or
more family members with breast or ovarian cancer.
