Grading
Your grade is based on four required parts.Lab assignments
The lab assignments should be made available online at the web page of the group at 17.00 at the day indicated for the deadline. These online deliverables must include:- the application embedded in HTML
- source listings
- zip file including all sources files
- documentation that describes and justifies the design decisions (in html or pdf!)
Final project
The final project is judged by three parts:- project brainstorm
- project concept presentation
- demonstration of the application
- Overall assessment of the application
- How well is the application presented, are the goals, design decisions etc. well explained
- online deliverable of the final application (according to the requirements of the assignments)
- Overall assessment of the (functionality of the) application and the code.
- Documentation and rationale:
Are the goals, design decisions and proposed usage well described? Is the functionality clear? Is it clear how to use the application(provide a scenario)?. Where does the code come from, what did you reuse? Fidelity: what is working, what not, why not, what would it take to make it work?
- Portfolio: is the site usable and complete?
Peer review
Each student provides peer reviews of two other groups. The review includes:- The presentation of the project concept
- Demonstration of the final project.
Focus on whether it is well demo'd; the goal and design decisions are well presented; whether these decisions meet the goal. Also describe risks and opportunities, possible other use cases.
