I am an Assistant Professor (i.e. Universiteitsdocent) at the VU University Amsterdam in the Web & Media Group and am also a member of the Network Institute. I research approaches for dealing with large amounts of diverse contextualized knowledge with a particular focus on the web and e-Science applications. Specifically, my research covers data provenance, Web Science, knowledge integration and knowledge sharing.
