Research

I am a final year PhD student working under the guidance of Andy Tanenbaum on all things storage related. In collaboration with David van Moolenbroek I designed and implemented Loris, a file-based storage stack that solves various flexibility, reliability, and heterogeneity problems that plague even state-of-the-art file systems by design.

In the summer of 2012, i interned at Microsoft Research, Cambridge under the supervision of Ant Rowstron. There, i worked on debunking traditional myths and rule of thumbs regarding scaling up data analytics workloads.
