PhD Advisor Wan Fokkink

Archana Nottamkandath is a PhD Researcher at Vrije University Amsterdam, Netherlands. Her PhD research is mainly focused on building Trust and Reputation Models for Cultural Heritage Domain. The PhD project is part of Socially Enriched Access to Linked Cultural Media(SEALINC) COMMIT . She holds a Masters in Parallel and Distributed Computing Systems(PDCS) from Vrije University, Netherlands.

She was awarded Grace Hopper scholarship in 2014 and was a speaker at Grace Hopper conference in Phoenix, USA. She also received travel grant to attend PyCon conference in Montreal, Canada. She was also awarded ACM Women Encourage scholarship which was held in Manchester, UK.

Internship at Thomson Reuters London R&D Archana did an internship at Thomson Reuters R&D in London from 1st June 2015 till 31st July 2015 under supervision of Jochen Leidner and worked on social media analysis for pharmaceutical domain.
