Publications

Projects

I'm involved in a number of projects:
  • The Network Institute is a recently opened virtual organization, forming a collaboration between Informatics, Economics, and Social Sciences. Virtually all network-related research at the VU has been bundled together.
  • Globule is in a sense a successor to Globe, this time explictly addressing worldwide content delivery as part of scalable Internet services.
  • Unified Messaging System is all about scalable and secure messaging, independent of the devices you are using and very much unifying existing messaging systems into a single framework.
  • GlobeSoul is a project on peer-to-peer issues. The research is gradually getting somewhere. Its page isn't.

Courses

Note: I have been appointed Director of Education for the CS department. For this reason, I will not take up supervision of any individual student projects (including BA and MSc projects), except when done in collaboration with Guillaume Pierre or Spyros Voulgaris.
