List of publications
Lectures I am involved in, at the Vrije Universiteit: ISO (year 2006 and 2007), Web-based Knowledge Representation (year 2007), Information Retrieval (years 2007 and 2008).
I reviewed papers for the conferences: 3rd European Semantic Web Conference (ESWC06), 1st Asian Semantic Web Conference (ASWC 2006), 18e Journées Francophones d'Ingénierie des Connaissances(IC'07),
the Workshop: Mastering the Gap From Information Extraction to Semantic Representation (ISWC 2007 workshop),
and the journals: IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (special issue on Semantic Image and Video Indexing in Broad Domains), Journal of Web Semantics (Special Issue on "Semantic Multimedia"), Data and Knowledge Engineering Journal
Invited speaker at the DELOS-Multimatch Workshop on Ontology-Driven Interoperability for Cultural Heritage Digital Objects, Pisa, 2006 (the slides are on the CHOICE Wiki).

Research Interests
My topics of interest focus on Natural Language Processing, in their interaction with ontology or terminology modelling. I'm also interested in the use of NLP techniques (associated with structured terminological resources or ontologies) for helping the indexing process of documents in a digital environment, and particularly for helping the indexing of audiovisual documents in such a context.
I started the research in this area during my masters' internship at the French National Audiovisual Institute (the National Archives for public broadcasted television and radio, in France), followed by a PhD in collaboration with this Institute. My PhD thesis is written in French, but it is publicly available.
