We are please to share that Laura was inaugurated as newest member of the Amsterdam Young Academy!
On the 5th of November 2024, Laura was inaugurated as one of the 10 new members of the Amsterdam Young Academy (AYA). As a member of AYA, Laura will be part of an interdisciplinary group of young academics from the VU and UvA. They will meet to develop views on science, scientific policy and how to build bridges between science and society in Amsterdam (https://amsterdamyoungacademy.nl).

My main research interests focus on precision quantum metrology with trapped ions for tests of fundamental physics. I aim to take advantage of quantum-enhanced techniques for more precise and robust measurements with engineered quantum states.
