On 11th February 2025, our paper on isotope shift measurements in Yb ions was finally published. In this paper we show the most recent results of high-precision spectroscopy and mass measurements in Yb ions from which we were able to benchmark nuclear structure and search for new physics. My main research interests focus on precision quantum metrology with trapped ions for tests of fundamental physics. I aim to take advantage of quantum-enhanced techniques for more precise and robust measurements with engineered quantum states.
