              <h2>Sharing Cores between Nodes</h2>
  
              <p>Following a technique used in OpenSG, a SceneJS scene graph node has two parts:</p>
              <br/>
  
              <p>(1) generic node
                  information such as children, parent, type, ID etc, and</p>
  
              <p>(2) type-specific information, such as geometry or material attributes.</p>
              <br/>
  
              <p>The second part is called a core, and that may be reused among nodes of the same type, as demonstrated in
                  this example.</p>
