project -- website for tradtional chinese medicine
This is a somewhat open-ended project, ultimately targeting
a community site.
You need to have an interest in the topic and even
be willing to learn some of the jargon, and possibly
some chinese.
However, there are a number of interesting challenges.
For more info, contact me at
eliens@cs.vu.nl or
ask information at the contact below.
example(s)
A first, very preliminary version can be found at:

target(s) -- problem statement
-
business card WEBsite for myself and Dr. Prof. Weixiang Wang, my business partner,. you will see all the credits etc etc in the attachment. What business? teaching, providing consult for patients (on-line and off-line), and providing therapy (off-line), all of this also to organisations (example the Amsterdam police we did a workshop for).
- WEBsite which is an invitation for people to join the forum / club, busy to organise the Conferences (events), publications, etc NOT just virtual communications.
comment(s)
The point is, apparently there is no such club (although there are many segregated professional unions). No blogs, no forums, etc etc in Holland, and also not in EU on larger scale (although there are might be initiatives in some countries locally, and there are some websites which try to do this on global scale, from the States mostly)
I would like to turn a few pages on very very quick, without much pain. For tech support and further functional development I got an intent of the VU Amsterdam dep. of WEBdesign to support it as a research project for them.
I need some graphic design work (basic) and some help with the text content. I might have access to a resource for writing / editing, for eng and then dutch but would need to get the basic structure of the sight organized properly and turned live in the first place. Perhaps I could do this by sitting down with somebody who made websites before and working it out in an hour.
I don't have any (fixed) budget, but I would pay whatever is necessary out of pocket for now.
