project description
Many applications, such as virtual reality theatre, or games in an educations context, require an approach that uses immersion as a way to involve the
user in a more compelling way.
To achieve such a high level of user involvement, we explore the
use of state-of-the-art game technology for developing such applications.
Our aim is to use such state-of-the-art technology for
real applications, in the domain of respectively
scientific and technical education, medical communication
and assistance with therapy, and in a more artistic way,
the control of visual experiences, using auto-feedback,
for cross-cultural awareness.

target application(s)

- the digi-doctor -- meet your (ludic) therapist
- the X-brain -- visual experiences with auto/bio-feedback
