cloud computing

We are looking for a student (or studentteam) with a strong interest in cloud computing. Our research looks into the possibilities of the AMAZON EC2 cloud for the delivery of ICT services that are often run inhouse. We think of database servers, mailservers, webservers, fileservers, etc.

Questions on our minds:

IS there a market in the Netherlands for .virtual dedicated hosting through the AMAZON cloud?.
How would a proposition in this for market look like.
How would this product be constructed.
What infrastructure is necessary for delivery of this concept

We think those are interesting questions. We offer access to the AMAZON EC2 cloud during the project. Student(team) will have a counterpart in Macedonia who will build the accompanying proof-of-concept. This implies real life experiencing nearshoring.
