I am a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

My research interests are in Coupled cell networks, Emergent phenomena, spatially extended dynamical systems, Hamiltonian and geometric mechanics, Aubry-Mather theory, lattice dynamical systems, symmetry and bifurcations.
