Homepage of Julienka Mollee, MSc

Hi! My name is Julienka (or Julia) Mollee. I'm a PhD student in the Behavioural Informatics group of the department of Artificial Intelligence at the VU University in Amsterdam. I studied Artificial Intelligence at the VU University, and I completed my studies with a Master's thesis on a computational model of psychological influences on physical activity behavior.

After graduating in December 2012, I started as a PhD student at the VU University, under supervision of prof.dr. Jan Treur and dr. Michel Klein. I work in an interdisciplinary research project called Active2Gether. It is a combined effort of the Behavioural Informatics group at the VU University in Amsterdam and the EMGO+ Institute for Health and Care Research. In this project, we aim to develop an intelligent coaching system that supports people to make healthy lifestyle choices, in particular regarding physical activity. In order to accomplish that, my research focuses on context awareness, personalization, computational modelling of psychological and sociological processes, and persuasive technology.
